Challenges in Implementing Israel's Plans. Early June (Part 2)

Forecast: "Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko - in the geopolitical game. Also Russia, USA, Ukraine, and Israel, and their leaders" (published on May 21, 2026, link).

By June 6, 2026, Israel will find it difficult to implement all its military plans, although it may focus on its militarist actions during this time.

In a confirmation on June 5, "Challenges in Implementing Israel's Plans. Beginning of June" analyzes Netanyahu's aggressive actions at the beginning of June, which halted the US-Iran ceasefire and posed a threat of renewed full-scale hostilities.

Moreover, in response to Israel's strikes on Beirut, Tehran retaliated with strikes on Israel.

As predicted by S. Dragan, "... by June 6, 2026, Israel will find it difficult to implement all its military plans, although it may focus on its militarist actions during this time".

On June 7-8, Israel and Iran signaled their intention to cease hostilities against each other. This followed a call from US President Donald Trump to stop the strikes. He noted that his peace talks with Tehran could now continue. At the same time, the relationship between the US President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is becoming strained.

After exchanges of long-range rocket fire, which contradicted U.S. President Donald Trump's calls for restraint and threatened to plunge the region into full-scale war, Israel and Iran signaled that attacks have ceased for now. By dawn on June 8, the two countries had fired dozens of rockets at each other, casting doubt on Trump's ability to contain the escalating crisis, which has caused significant economic damage worldwide.

"At present, the fire on this front is localized, because after striking the terrorist regime in Tehran, it has stopped attacking us," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video statement on June 8. "They thought they could shell Israel from Lebanese and Iranian territories and that we wouldn't act. That didn't happen and it won't happen," he added.

In his statement announcing a halt to strikes against Iran, Netanyahu warned Tehran that his country would "respond decisively" if attacked again. Just before his announcement, Iran stated it had delivered an "acute response" to Israel and would cease its attacks, according to a statement from the Iranian armed forces headquarters, carried by state media.

There may be a temporary euphoria (for Israel) regarding its chosen status, especially emphasized in these times by a religious context. And by June 19, 2026, this fact will be particularly evident in its actions, more akin to self-glorification and overestimation of its capabilities. It will become important to demonstrate its significance at all costs. It will seek new investments in its project of dominance. But I do not think that in these times, at least as of July 2026, it will receive the expected reinforcement of its positions. As if no one is paying attention to it at this time.
