Challenges in implementing Israel's plans. Early June

Forecast: "Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko - in the geopolitical game. Also Russia, USA, Ukraine, and Israel, and their leaders" (published on May 21, 2026, link).

S. Dragan:

By June 6, 2026, Israel will find it difficult to implement all its military plans, although it may focus on this period with its militarist actions. And there may be a temporary euphoria about its chosen status, especially emphasized during these times in a religious context...

In the confirmation on June 1, "Israel seeks to strengthen its positions" noted that by the end of May, the military actions in southern Lebanon "temporarily give Israel a sense of victory."

And here it's crucial to emphasize the word "temporarily."

In early June, Israel strikes southern Lebanon, despite declared efforts by D. Trump to bolster the ceasefire regime. Military aircraft of the Jewish state deliver dozens of air strikes on the territory of the neighboring country, and the Israeli army announces evacuation in the city of Nabatiye.

Iran, in response to these provocations, has made it clear to the US that if they want to continue negotiations, they need to rein in Israel in Lebanon, Advance reports.

Unconfirmed reports have emerged of a tense conversation between US and Israeli leaders. Apparently, Trump called Netanyahu a "sleeping" one during the conversation at a high volume. However, it does not seem he will be reining in Israel. The world is merely witnessing another performance with its own purpose.

Politicians are asking: Is this the end of Trump's and Netanyahu's alliance? Unlikely. As in the past, this could be only a carefully planned act of the same play that continues towards its planned end. In this case, it will be the US deal with Iran and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran declared yesterday (June 1, 2026) that it is cutting all contacts with the US, including those maintained through intermediaries, due to the escalation of Israeli aggression in Lebanon. In other words, if Trump wants to continue negotiations, he must rein in Israel.

The minimum demand being made of Israel in Lebanon is that the Israeli army must retreat to positions held on February 27. This was stated by Ismail Qaani, commander of the special forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, Iran's elite military units), reported the Fars news agency.

WASHINGTON, June 4 - RIA Novosti. Israel and Lebanon have agreed to implement a ceasefire during negotiations facilitated by the United States, according to a joint statement from both sides.

The fourth high-level meeting between representatives of Israel and Lebanon took place on June 2 and 3.

“As a result of negotiations led by the U.S., Israel and Lebanon have agreed to implement a ceasefire. The truce depends on a complete ceasefire from Hezbollah and the withdrawal of all its fighters from the area south of the Litani River,” the document, published by the U.S. State Department, reads.

At the same time, “...and in Israel, a temporary euphoria arose about its chosen status, especially emphasized in this context by a religious one...”

“Lord, forgive us for not supporting Israel enough!” Christian representatives from around the world were brought to the Israeli parliament to collectively pray for the Jewish state. This was reported by the 'Yeni Safak' agency on June 1, 2026.

As reported by the publication, the 10th annual Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast event took place in the Knesset.

Dozen Christians from 38 countries, including the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea, and China, as well as Israeli lawmakers and officials, attended the event.

Predicting the future, S. Dragan emphasizes:

By June 19, 2026, this fact will be particularly evident in Israel's actions, resembling more egotism and overestimation of its capabilities. Israel will strive to demonstrate its significance at any cost. It will seek new investments in its project of dominance. However, I don't think it will gain the expected reinforcement of its positions at this time, at least not in July 2026. It seems that everyone is preoccupied with other issues right now.
