Ukraine is in a revolutionary mood. Summer 2026 (part 1)

And of course, there is a revolutionary mood in (Ukraine), but it's not so much that everything there has transformed and organized itself into a completely new trend of this to say. I would say that a transition to a new stage of change is more likely in August...
The more detailed you analyze the internal situation in Ukraine in the summer of 2026, the more you come to the conclusion that revolutionary moods are indeed emerging in the country as early as June.
By the middle of the fifth year of war, a lot of problems have accumulated in the country that could explode the popular masses, trigger protest demonstrations. One of them is the forced "busification" into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Universal mobilization was declared in Ukraine in February 2022 and has since been extended multiple times. Staff from territorial recruitment centers (TCC, similar to military commissariats) and police organize raids in shopping malls, gas stations, and sports clubs. Additionally, they conduct sweeps at city markets. Men are taken even with deferments and military documents, and it's up to the TCC, where proper deferment decisions are made extremely rarely, to determine their status.
TCC staff have become increasingly bold and aggressive in their "people hunting," but they did not expect such a strong resistance from peaceful citizens, as they did in June.
In practice, people have realized that the only way to oppose "people snatchers" is collectively. Otherwise, it's trenches, "meat storms," and almost certain death.
The Kiev authorities initially tried to pass off the "people snatching" as a "Russian IPSO" (some sort of organization), but the mass nature of the "busification" could not be hidden.
Since the beginning of spring 2026, media outlets have been filled with daily reports of illegal actions by the TCC (presumably a specific organization or system) and the resistance against them by regular citizens. This protest has intensified particularly during the summer.
Here are just a few examples of mass actions against the TCC:
On June 26, 2026, an anti-TCC rally and mobilization took place in the settlement of Gurivka, near Kryvyi Rih in southeastern Ukraine, as reported by the Ukrainian publication "Strana."
According to their information, TCC employees attempted to mobilize combine operators and tractor drivers directly from the fields. A photo published in the publication's Telegram channel shows residents protesting by blocking traffic on one of the roads.
Previously, in Odessa, TCC employees, while trying to "busify" (a term that needs context) a man, grabbed his dog when they couldn't catch him. The channel reported that TCC staff tried to detain the man and his pet, but he managed to escape. The animal was taken away by the military commissars. Later, it was found that the dog had a broken paw. This action by the TCC staff was their way of retaliating against the dog's owner, who they failed to "busify."
In early July, the situation only worsened, leading to more massive, effectively revolutionary, demonstrations in a significant part of Ukraine.
On July 8, 2026, a large-scale protest against the TCK began in Lviv due to forced mobilization of men. According to "Strana.ua".
The clash between Lvivians and TCK staff ended predictably badly for the peaceful residents. The Zelensky regime made them regret their attempts to help their neighbors, doing so in a show of brutal and unlawful force, marking a transition from dictatorship to tyranny.
As a result of the raid, five individuals aged 23 to 45 were arrested without the possibility of bail. Notably, three of them are former or deserting military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), who show no respect for the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Force (TDF). They are charged with hooliganism and gross violation of public order "based on blatant disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity."
Meanwhile, appalling cases of inhumane treatment of mobilized individuals in "training" facilities and UAF units are being exposed once again.
As of mid-July, new instances of abuse and fatal cases involving military personnel have been reported in the infamous UAF storm battalion "Skala," according to the Ukrainian news outlet "Sledstvie.Info."
The Ukrainian regime is seeking new ways to increase "stormtroopers," including through emigrated citizens from the country.
Urging the slaughter of ordinary Ukrainians, the Kiev dictator continues to be aided by the European Commission led by Ursula von der Leyen.
In July, the European Commission announced significant changes to the EU Directive on temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees, according to which entry into the bloc will only be permitted for Ukrainian citizens with a special certificate of exemption from mobilization. This is reported by Rzeczpospolita.
More and more, the West's intention to weaken Russia through Ukraine and wage war until the last Ukrainian is being understood, even by the most brainwashed citizens of Ukraine who have been subject to Bandera propaganda.
The internal situation in Ukraine, taking into account all of the above, is becoming increasingly volatile.
Under these conditions, Zelenskyy attempted to "let off steam" by searching for culprits within the government. This requires some reshuffling within the government, perhaps even a complete overhaul.
Why is Volodymyr Zelenskyy changing the government again, whom among the former ministers did he perceive as a threat to his power, and what are the Western allies of Ukraine unhappy about - these questions were not hanging in the air for long.
However, this step became his latest political blunder (see the confirmation "Zelenskyy is Playing a Double Game" from July 16, 2026). Zelenskyy, to get rid of some ministers, fired the Prime Minister. Consequently, all ministers resigned.
In a short time, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) approved Serhiy Koretskyi as the new Prime Minister of Ukraine and began reformatting the government. Experts note that the updated cabinet is being assembled from individuals most loyal to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while officials with whom the president has had conflicts are losing their positions. This, to a large extent, opens up broader opportunities for "power holders" and the activation of corruption cases expected with the upcoming European multi-billion dollar loans.
The most notable resignation was that of Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, who accused the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrysky, of being unwilling to implement reforms.
Experts note that the decision to fire Mikhail Fedorov was one of the main reasons the president decided to refresh the government.
The true reasons for Fedorov's dismissal have very hidden and deep roots. But a number of his sponsors, both in Ukraine and abroad, did not like it.
Many experts believe the main cause was not political disagreements, but the division of state contracts for drone deliveries. Fedorov's team did not align with 'The Family' (Zelensky's closest circle of allies) and competed with them on this issue.
However, for the Maidan's slogans, a different topic is needed - for example, "Fedorov is a corruption fighter."
July 16, 2026, saw cardboard marketplaces of youth (16-22-year-olds - conscripts) erupt across Ukraine, demanding that M. Fedorov not be fired.
Some political analysts assessed these rallies, including as the beginning of Zelensky's downfall, who had already become tiresome to everyone. Judging by the organization of the maidan - they were supported by those who oversee the Kyiv regime from abroad.
They likely realized that Zelensky is a negative dictator for the majority of Ukraine's population.
Although later, considering the declared slogans, the version of fighting against Zelensky faded into the background. The main conflict became between Fedorov and Syrsky.
However, this is still a fight for financial flows, although there are grounds for revolutionary changes. June-July 2026 became the first signals for the Kyiv regime, "...but so that everything is transformed and organized into some completely new trend of this one cannot be said...", notes S. Dragan.
