S. Dragan:
…The Vatican is beginning to change and completely restructure itself.
Forecast: "Deep processes of influence on current global events, including the Vatican" (published April 8, 2026, link).
S. Dragan:
However, by the end of April, the situation will be quite critical, forcing the Vatican to seek new paths of solutions to remain in the loop of managing global processes. … In any case, it is very possible that the Vatican, in particular Pope Leo XIV, especially in May, may propose some new variants of peace or even rules and relations. This all may even seem completely new and even surprising regarding such approaches to resolving contradictions…
It has already been said in three parts of the Confirmation from April 6, 20, and 27 that “The Vatican is beginning to change and completely restructure”, but new information on this subject emerges, requiring its consideration.
Dragan emphasizes that, “...but by the end of April, the situation will be quite critical, forcing the Vatican to seek new avenues for solutions to remain in the fold of managing global processes...”
One such critically important factor for humanity has been the active integration of artificial intelligence into various spheres of human activity, influencing the management of global processes.
The Catholic Church has published the first and most important document of Pope Leo XIV since his ascension to the throne - the encyclical Magnifica Humanitas (“Magnificent Humanity”), dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) and other contemporary issues. This is reported by InfoVaticana.
The Vatican is creating a special commission at the initiative of Pope Leo XIV to coordinate the Catholic Church's stance on artificial intelligence. This was reported by Politico, noting that the decision to establish the commission was made ahead of the publication of the papal encyclical dedicated to AI. The document was subsequently published on May 25, 2026.
The encyclical, dedicated to AI, emphasizes the ethical aspects of using this new technology.
Pope Leo XIV stated that the development of artificial intelligence and investments in high-tech weapons are leading the world towards destruction. This was reported by The Independent newspaper.
"In our time, the church offers each person its treasure trove of social teachings in response to the latest industrial revolution and the development of artificial intelligence, which pose new challenges for the protection of human dignity, justice, and labor," the pontiff said.
The Pope emphasized that the active use of neural networks can reduce the importance of decisions made by humans, the development of AI should be controlled to ensure technologies do not exempt people from responsibility for their own decisions and do not exacerbate the consequences of armed conflicts.
As examples, he cited the situations in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Iran, stating that modern wars demonstrate the inhuman connection between technology and armed conflicts.
In any case, ... the Vatican, in particular Pope Leo XIV, especially in May, proposed certain new variants of peace or generally rules and relations. All of this may even seem completely new and even surprising in terms of such approaches to resolving conflicts.
The aforementioned encyclical Magnifica Humanitas («Excellent Humanity») is dedicated not only to artificial intelligence but also to international peace (and currently, to a greater extent, to the cessation of war) and the crisis of international law.
Indeed, in the first half of 2026, in the context of the sharp increase in the scale of armed conflicts, the need to preserve international peace and find solutions to the problems of the implementation of international law became particularly acute.
The current situation is paradoxical and unacceptable, where the stronger one is right, and this is the only principle of modern politics that currently exists in the world. There are no other principles - this is not only noted by political scientists but also by political leaders. Very symbolically, the renaming in the US of the «Ministry of Defense» to «Ministry of War».
The Vatican is observing with special concern the actions of EU leaders and European country heads in stoking military hysteria.
Pope Francis criticized the increase in military spending in Europe, noting that rising costs for armaments come at the expense of education and healthcare systems. According to the pontiff, such processes contribute to the enrichment of elites at the expense of the common good, erode trust in diplomacy, increase instability and tension in the world.
"The increase in military spending in the world, and in particular in Europe, has been enormous over the past year," Pope Francis stated during a speech at the Roman University "Sapienza."
S. Dragan predicts:
... And, of course, things will not be so obvious when there can be theatrical performances of the Pope. And, considering extraordinary cosmic processes, as if launching their influences on all layers of life, societies, people, even Pope Leo XIV looks like a character trying to maintain previous conservative positions, promoting the role of the Vatican, and at the same time seeking new paths of understanding the cosmos, not in terms of its arrangement, but a tendency towards true divine principles. And it will be very difficult for him to reconcile these contradictions in his trajectory. It's hard to say how this will be covered in the press, but based on what I see, he may try to combine new metaphysical setups, certain contacts, with the search for reconciliation of positions with new divine principles coming to Earth.
