Provocative pressure on Russia. Early September 2026 (Part 1 – from the Kyiv regime)

S. Dragan:
But to achieve this, Western leaders and the Kyiv regime need to resort to highly questionable political staging. It is of a very dubious and even ugly nature. For Russia, this is also a highly provocative scenario. And for Russia’s leader, it looks like pressure, and rather serious pressure at that…
Serious external pressure on Russia cannot be regarded as the actions of one individual leader of Western countries or the head of Kyiv. It is the methodical, systemically interconnected activity of the collective West.
And with a kind of manic determination, the West sought to influence the results of the elections to Russia’s State Duma in early September 2026.
Part 1 will examine the provocative and rather dubious political actions of the Kyiv regime, which in fact constitute terrorist acts.
In early September 2026, Zelensky stated that Ukrainian Armed Forces drones would “de facto close” Russian skies to civil aviation — “the safe days are over.”
Russian leader Vladimir Putin emphasized that Zelensky’s statement should be regarded as a declaration of state terrorism, and there are no negotiations with terrorists.
In addition, Putin answered a question about the possibility of strikes against Ukraine’s military and political leadership.
“As you can see, we do not carry out such strikes. We proceed from the assumption that if people understand that they want to resolve the issue peacefully rather than destroy our economy in 40 days, then we need some negotiators,” he added.
Operation “M&M's”: Media reveal how Ukraine planned to strike Moscow airports
The Atlantic wrote that Ukrainian officials proposed to Zelensky earlier this year that up to 1,000 UAVs a day be launched against Moscow airports. Operation “M&M's” involved the use of inexpensive autonomous drones capable of identifying and striking targets without an operator. According to the publication, the plan was suspended.
At the beginning of autumn, in connection with investigative actions being carried out in Germany, the media resumed discussing who was responsible for the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry ambassador-at-large, sarcastically commented on Zelensky’s attempt to deny the Kyiv authorities’ involvement in the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline. The diplomat wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
Recall that Zelensky, during a summit of Nordic and Baltic countries in Kyiv, stated that Ukraine allegedly had not considered carrying out sabotage and had nothing to do with what happened.
“It was simply ‘some Ukrainian citizens, with the knowledge of certain high-ranking Ukrainian officials,’ who organized the explosion, and then some Ukrainian diplomats hid the suspect from the German investigation,” Miroshnik wrote.
“What kind of ‘official involvement’ could there possibly be?” the diplomat sarcastically concluded.
Earlier, a Ukrainian citizen who allegedly took part in blowing up the gas pipelines was detained in Croatia.
At the same time, the man took part in filming a feature film about this act of sabotage. The film concerns “a secret group of Ukrainian divers embarking on an underwater mission.”
Explosions struck the pipelines on September 26, 2022. The perpetrators disabled both lines of Nord Stream and one line of Nord Stream 2.
But perhaps the “highest manifestation” of the Zelensky regime’s vileness can be considered Kyiv’s overt, undisguised attempt to disrupt the elections to the Russian State Duma on September 18–20, 2026, through massive terrorist UAV strikes against polling stations and other civilian facilities in Russia.
Summarizing the Kyiv regime’s aggressive actions as a whole, it should be emphasized that “for Russia, this is a highly provocative scenario. And for Russia’s leader, it looked like pressure, and rather serious pressure at that…”
As S. Dragan predicts in response to these terrorist attacks:
…by around October 20, Russia may deliver one of the most devastating blows to the Ukrainian regime. And from mid-October through around October 20, 2026, Russia will grow considerably stronger, and this will largely dot the i’s, hinting at a new political and rhetorical trajectory. This will strengthen the country’s military potential and somewhat alter the economic factor in Russia’s favor. For the external geopolitical opposition represented by certain countries, this will be perceived as readiness for an attack or as an alarm signal…
