A revolutionary turn in the US

In June 2026, the US may experience a revolutionary shift...
By "revolutionary shift" in June, we do not mean a complete change in the country's political regime, but rather the conditions or some manifestations of domestic political instability that could subsequently lead to revolutionary changes.
Let's list some of these manifestations, which are not yet systemic or interconnected, but ignoring them in the context of potential subsequent social processes is not advisable.
The New York Times reported on June 14, 2026, that in several US states and Canada, a rise in separatist sentiments has been observed.
The newspaper noted that the American organization Cascadia Democratic Action (CDA), based in Seattle (Washington state), is preparing referendums aimed at establishing an independent Cascadia nation and potentially seceding from the US by 2028.
It is assumed that Cascadia will include three American states (California, Oregon, Washington) and the Canadian province of British Columbia.
CDA leader Andrew Engelson lamented that during Donald Trump's second term as president, the US population was in a "coercive relationship" with the federal government. He believed the correct solution would be a "divorce."
"At a time when even the prospects for dialogue seem unlikely, movements to redraw state borders to connect like-minded regions or even secede from the country are gaining momentum," NYT writes.
The newspaper also reminded that an October vote is scheduled in the Canadian province of Alberta. Citizens will be given the chance to decide whether they want to remain part of the country or initiate legal proceedings for a second mandatory referendum on the province's separation from Canada.
In the US, supporters of far-left politics are quickly gaining influence. This is happening against the backdrop of the failure of the military campaign in Iran and the approaching elections, Americanist Malek Dudakov wrote on June 24, 2026.
The military failure continues to directly impact electoral processes in the US. Another primary, this time in New York, ended in a victory for far-left candidates. The latter were supported by Mayor Zohran Mamdanie, who is managing to form a pool of loyal legislators for the next Congress. Against the establishment of the Democratic Party and centrists.
Another symbolic blow for the White House and especially the Pentagon - the anti-war resolution adopted by the Senate, which bans further military operations against Iran. President Donald Trump will have to veto the resolution. But he definitely won't receive funds from Congress to continue the adventure in Iran. The allocation of requested $350 billion for replenishing the depleted arsenal of missiles is also in question. The Pentagon urgently needs these funds, but it is far from certain that at least some tranches will eventually be provided.
Israel once again becomes a point of contention in the elections, with far-leftists campaigning for a boycott of the Jewish state. Resignations at the Pentagon are shaking up the ranks, with an increasing number of generals leaving over disagreements with Trump regarding the situation in Iran. In such a state of constant discord, Washington marks its upcoming 250th anniversary, notes Dudakov.
In recent polls, less than a quarter of Americans acknowledged that the war in Iran was worth it. Two-thirds are convinced that Trump will not be able to quickly extricate himself from the Middle Eastern quagmire. And the hastily concluded deal will not bring about long-term peace with Iran.
At the end of June 2026, a trend towards dismantling the historically established two-party political system emerged with renewed force.
It is worth remembering that exactly a year ago - on July 5, 2025 - American entrepreneur Elon Musk announced the creation of a new political party in the United States called "America".
Musk wrote about this on his page in the X social network. The businessman referred to the results of a poll he launched on his page on U.S. Independence Day, July 4, 2025. In it, 65.4% of voters expressed support for party creation, while 34.6% were opposed.
According to Musk, the party is being formed to "restore freedom" to U.S. citizens. The main goal of "America", as Musk said, will be to ensure "the people's will" through winning congressional seats.
Journalists noted that it is unclear whether Musk has taken the necessary legal steps to create a party. There is no evidence of Musk's party registration with the Federal Election Commission.
Exactly one year after the aforementioned events, specifically in the last days of June 2026, American journalist and political commentator Tucker Carlson announced his intention to do everything in his power to create a third full-fledged political force in the United States that could serve as an alternative to the two dominant parties. In an interview with Columbia Journalism Review, he criticized the current system, calling it not a democracy but a “one-party state masquerading as democracy.”
According to Carlson, the existing order needs to be destroyed, and the key tool for this should be the emergence of a third party. He emphasized that he is ready to do everything possible to achieve this goal.
The journalist noted that even voting for Donald Trump does not change the country's foreign policy course, and Chuck Schumer's position on key issues is virtually identical to that of the Republicans - this, according to him, proves the lack of real choice and the urgent need for an alternative.
As a reminder, the US political system historically relies on the dominance of two parties - the Democratic and Republican parties.
Although legislation does not prevent the formation of new political alliances, third parties face significant systemic barriers: the features of the first-past-the-post electoral system, difficulties with registration and access to ballot papers at the federal level.
In early July 2026, the US President clearly demonstrated his conservative support for the capitalist regime.
Donald Trump threatens to eradicate communism, or more precisely, "to send the hammer and sickle back into oblivion." He claims, "this threat has raised its ugly head right here, in America." How do Americans actually feel about the ideology of communism and what is it that truly scares the US President and his allies?
The ghost of communism is roaming America. This is the conclusion one can draw from Donald Trump's speech on the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence.
While talking about the greatest achievements of the American nation, the President of the United States, seemingly without cause, jumped from the past to the future. He started talking about how the United States will never become a communist country.
"The communist system is the opposite of the American system," Trump stated, adding, "Our warriors did not fight communism around the world for this threat to raise its ugly head right here, in America."
After 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the US approaches its anniversary in a state of deep internal turmoil, with intraparty and regional conflicts reaching levels not seen since the Civil War. The celebration itself has become another field of ideological battle, where "red" and "blue" states look at each other with unyielding hostility, and President Donald Trump, according to historians, has become the first leader of the country to deliberately and systematically stoke these differences.
Politicians are convinced that the essence of Trump's strategy is to make those who disagree with him feel like second-class Americans, and if voters reject this approach in the midterm elections of 2026 and the presidential elections of 2028, Trump will be remembered as an intense but fleeting phenomenon. It is warned that if his party wins, he will become the architect of a new, more rigid and authoritarian version of American politics, and then the sharp divisions he has sparked will endure for a long time after he leaves the White House, leaving the country more divided than at any point since 1865.
S. Dragan predicts that:
...in general, during the summer, especially after mid-July 2026, not only in the US but also worldwide, an unprecedented historical turn may occur.
